Split screen

Hi,

After running into an issue with file size I ended up using the editor Kate 
for a project. One of the very nice features with it, is the ability to split 
the screen into seemingly unlimited number of screens.

It allows you to have several views of the same file open which can be very 
handy in any file of size. Switching content in each screen is also very 
handy. I ended up completing the project in Kate, and now miss not having 
these features in Quanta. 

Any chance this is on the todo list?
