Kubuntu packages in KDE4:

$ aptitude search quanta
i   quanta - web development environment for KDE
i A quanta-data - data files for Quanta Plus web development environment

Quanta will run, you just need the various Qt3 packages installed, which apt 
will find via dependencies I believe.

Hopefully the RPM client on Mandriva will do the same ?
