I'm with Emmet too. Maybe it is a Fedora thing because I have never had any major problems using Quanta on KDE4 (currently with Fedora 10). I converted to KDE just at the time KDE4.0 was released, so I can't compare to the KDE3 desktop experience, but KDE4 is far superior to Gnome for me. I hope Fedora keep the necessary KDE3 libraries in place until Quanta is ready for KDE4 otherwise I will be quite lost!
