Hi Eric,

it was nice to hear from you, even though it sheds light on some sad
things that have happened in your life. I'm glad you are still with
Quanta Plus (at least in your mind), because all the alternatives that I
have checked out so far and are capable of running under KDE 4 cannot
reach up to the standard that Quanta Plus has set. If I could do
programming in C or C++ and if I was a bit more familiar with KDE
libraries and stuff, I would have started helping a long time ago. But I
can only use it, and that also for just limited things, mostly PHP and
HTML. But for that, Quanta Plus was and is the best I've ever seen.
Unfortunately, it doesn't run under KDE 4, also trying this trinity
thing didn't work.
I want to take this opportunity to thank you from the bottom of my heart
for this superb piece of software and for the support you have given
over the many years that I had used it. I don't give up hope for a
KDE4-version of quanta, for the time being I try all kinds of editors
with all the frustrations that come with it.
I wish you all the best!

Martin
