I would be happy to see a kde4 (Kdevelop?) new Quanta,
however all development seems to have ended into
nothingness?
- Could anybody answer the question about any progress
in this field?

I would never recommend Bluefish because of its useless
and uggly interface, I rather use Kate or Kdevelop. But
the only real competitor to Quanta seems to be Aptana.
I will install it in my openSuse 12.1 if no other
successor to the old kde3 Quanta will appear soon.

You can use Bluefish too.

Bluefish has HTML, HTML5 and CSS support.
Also has Zen Codding support.

Bluefish can be download from the official webpage and
can be installed
v?a distribution repositories (apt-ge install
bluefish). ;)

I recomend it!
;)
