Trinity is a complete package comparable to KDE 3.5, and it
has quanta in its bin folder.  It resides in /opt/trinity/bin. You
don't download Quanta but rather you install the Trinity Gui and
instead of booting KDE4 via kdm you boot Trinity via kdm. There
is a little block you can modify in the kdm boot window that when
clicked shows the various guis available. You can also boot Quanta in a
KDE4 session, or at least I can. But you install Trinity and not just
Quanta.
