I have two versions of Quanta, 3.5.13 courtesy of Trinity desktop and 3.9 which came with the Slackware 14 distribution. The latter is totally different. One of the virtues of quanta has always beeen the ablitiy to split the window between code and final appearance. There were icons on the icon bar that allowed one to select the view you wanted: code, final appearance or both. This seems to have disappeared. In short the name Quanta seems to have been grafted onto a general purpose code development editor. Is there a way to get Quanta 9 to work like the older 3.5.3 and restore the html specific features like the split view? -- John Culleton Wexford Press Free list of books for self-publishers: http://wexfordpress.net/shortlist.html PDF e-book: "Create Book Covers with Scribus" available at http://www.booklocker.com/books/4055.html
