Open Recent Project and SFT broken

Quanta 3.5.6 (Using KDE 3.5.4-6.0.fc5.kde)

I downloaded the source on the 10th and after building it without an
incident have been using it ever since. I love it.

I've setup a number of projects, all using sft. Everything worked fine
until just a few days ago.

Basically whenever I try to "Project | Open Recent Project" it sits
there for a couple minutes then pops up with:

The file
sftp://[email protected]:22/home/etc/etc/etc/project.webprj
does not exist.
Do you want to remove it from the list?

But when I use ssh and login using that user's login I can see the
project file just fine, cat it out, write to it, etc... All permissions
on the entire path up to and including that file are wide open for the
user quanta is logging in as.

If I then create a new project, and overwrite the old one, it works fine
*until* I try to switch projects and the whole thing breaks again. So
basically there's no way to open an existing project any more, only
create new ones. And the new ones I create can have the same name as the
old one, even overwrite the project file that is already there, but I
just can't re-open that project again once I've closed it.

The same problem exists when I close quanta. When I restart I can't open
any of the other existing projects, not even the one I just created
before exiting quanta.

This behavior is the same across 3 servers.

I've watched tcpdump and you can see the ssh go across the network, but
after a minute or so quanta pops up and says the project file doesn't
exist.

It's puzzling in that all these servers and projects worked fine until
just a few days ago. And I don't think I changed anything on my system
that would have triggered this.

Although this first looks like a bug I'm thinking maybe you guys have
seen this before and will give me a simple "go change this setting" fix
and that technically it's not a bug.
