Re: kate, as a plugin

I've been following this and I think it is a great idea.  I've always wanted a 
small 'scratchpad' and this seems like the answer.  I have used the Kate 
plugin as suggested a few days a ago and it is just what I needed.  Menu 
duplication doesn't worry me too much ;-).
