At least it surely fixes the slowness for me !
Usually Quanta started to slow down quickly, after 5 minutes or so.
This afternoon I've been using Quanta for around 3 hours without any problem.

As my big bad firewall don't let me use SVN, I downloaded parser.cpp, node.cpp and node.h from http://websvn.kde.org/branches/KDE/3.5/kdewebdev/quanta/parsers/?sortby=date#dirlist
Probably not the best solution, but it worked so far.
