trouble accessing ftp site with "@" in username

Hi, how would I log into an ftp site from Quanta Plus that has:

username-with-an-@-in-it

password

some-domain


I don't know how to properly escape the "@" to do:

ftp://username:password@some-domain

in the open location dialogue box.

Command line ftp typing:

username-with-an-@-in-it

at the username prompt followed by the password at the password prompt 
works, but I'd like to load files from the site directly in Quanta.
