Need Help with Aspell Plugin

I cannot configure a spellcheck  plug-in. I keep getting the wrong file 
or wrong path. When I try to configure aspell, the configuration screen 
does not appear. I have aspell and ispell installed but can't get Quanta 
to accept either as a plugin. I'll appreciate any suggestions.
