Status of Quanta and KDE 4

Hello list,

can you please give a small overview about quanta (kwebdev) and its progress 
on the way to kde 4?

Until today I don't get any packages for my opensuse 10.3 box.
Will it be ready for kde 4.1?
Or is opensuse not ready with packages?
Will there be a kde 4 release of quanta?

Any information is appreciated!
