klinkstatus and web page/user authentication

Quanta is rarely a problem, but I dearly need help again on klinkstatus. 
I have a rails site with user authentication. I'd like to crawl the site 
using klinkstatus, but I need to authenticate to enter. I see that 
klinkstatus supports authentication, but I can't figure out how.
