Map Centering

Have just updated to digikam 8.7 a programme that I have used for a 
while and  just getting used to as a replacement for Picasa.

Is there a setting I have missed or a way to have the map centre itself 
on the image location.

If I look at several images in the same general area things are fine but 
if I then select an image from a more distant location, the other end of 
the country or even another country.

I have to go search with the map zoom to find the marker.


Can / could the map "recentre" itself based on the current zoom level.
