digikamstat - a tool for analyzing photo metadata - request for testing

Hi,

i’m writing a tool for analyzing the metadata of our photos that are 
stored in the digikam database (digikam4.db).

The tool is generating different reports and show them in in a simple gui.

Examples of what you get out of the reports:

  * On which year/month/day i shoot the most photos?
  * What was the most used lens and focal length in this year/month/album?
  * …

I tested the app with my private database and created a first release on 
github:

The tool is working with a copy of your database, so no worries.

I’m open for tips, ideas and improvements, i’m not an python or qt expert…
