The Refocus tool (Sharpen) is missing in 8.8.0 (Flatpack/Wayland)

After upgrading to 8.8.0 I am now missing the refocus tool - I've tried 
googling but nothing comes up.

Is it only me, it is a bit suspicious that this happened straight after 
the upgrade.
Nothing else has changed on this machine (as far as I can tell).

Anything I can do (short of reverting to 8.7) ?
