Hi all! - I installed DK 8.8 on my Debian 13, - copied DK databases from another PC (Ubuntu 24) - run Digikam, setting the db path to /home/antonio/Documenti/configurazioni/cfg Digikam/database/ - Digikam runs OK. - Now starting DK from .desktop launcher has no effect. - Delete all db - Running DK, it suggest to delete Home/config/digikamrc - digikamrc deleted - restart DK, DK asked for initial settings but then DK does not start. - Running from shell gives: ----------------- antonio@antonio-m32cd4k:~/appimages/digikam$ ./digiKam-8.8.0-Qt6-x86-64.appimage -- digiKam Linux AppImage Bundle -- Use 'help' as CLI argument to know all available options for digiKam application. -- Notes: to integrate this bundle to your desktop, use AppImageLauncher. -- to enable all debug messages on the console, use 'export QT_LOGGING_RULES="digikam*=true"'. -- to extract the bundle contents locally, use option '--appimage-extract' on the command line. -- Detected host Linux Debian GNU/Linux-64-13.2 -- AppImage mounted directory: /tmp/.mount_digiKa6ClJll Preloading skipped for libudev.so.0 Preloading /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libxcb-dri3.so.0 Preloading skipped for libcrypto.so.1.1 Preloading skipped for libssl.so.1.1 Preloading skipped for libnss3.so Preloading /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libnssutil3.so Preloading skipped for libsmime3.so Preloading /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libgmodule-2.0.so.0 Preloading skipped for libgnutls.so.30 Preloading /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libnettle.so.8 -- Preloading shared libs: :/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libxcb-dri3.so.0:/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libnssutil3.so:/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libgmodule-2.0.so.0:/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libnettle.so.8 unknown: KCatalog being used without a Q*Application instance.
