Help with changing Colour Labels Description.

Hi Guys

I’m a new user coming from Lightroom.
The manual claims one can change the colour labels to indicate a more usable description by double-clicking the label text in Labels view. 
I have version 8.8 running on an iMac and have tried this, but I am not offered this option. Have I missed some setting or other?
