HI, Under Windows, a bug has been discovered in 9.0.0 about the network path registered as a collection. I recommend trying the 9.1.0 pre-release where the bug have been forced. https://files.kde.org/digikam/ Best regards Gilles Caulier Le sam. 25 avr. 2026 à 23:30, Ian McCarthy <[email protected]> a écrit : > > I have just upgraded to Version 9.0.0 on my Windows 10 22H2, 64 machine, and I am having a problem with one of my main Albums. > > The album in question is a networked folder S: and has 53k plus images and videos in it, in 566 subfolders. > > When Digikam first starts the Album is in the list of Albums. It then vanishes from the list and I note that it has started to scan all the sub folders of Album Root: S: as a process. When it has finished this, which unsurprisingly takes a lot of time, the album does not re-appear in the Album list. > > If I look at the Root Album Folders it is ticked and under collection of Network Shares > Monitor the album for external changes is NOT ticked. > > If I close Digikam and restart it then the album is now present in the album list, and I can see all the images. However if I add a tag to an image in the library it goes of into the scanning activity, and the album vanishes again > > What have I got wrong?
