John, as for KSystemLog, I agree with you on this - the enforced light mode=

blinding. However, I think the issue is likely to have different roots here=

no pun intended. See, not many graphical apps run as root, but KSystemLog is
one such app. Root is considered to be a different user, and so anything th=
ey
run will normally not follow the normal user's configurations. Perhaps you =
will
be able to tweak the colours of KSystemLog by making modifications within
/root/.config instead?

Alternatively, Journald Browser (aka. KJournald Browser) is a QML take on t=
he
same thing as KSystemLog. It is great in many ways, though it seems much le=
ss
feature complete than KSystemLog. However, if it fits your use case, you mi=
ght
prefer it better, as it follows your system colour scheme.
