Good morning everybody;
I need to talk to you.
I am a math teacher at a public school here in Brazil, in the state of Sant=
a Catarina.
Some of my students have become computer science students, thanks to your i=
dea and your efforts. I introduce students to computational logic using Ktu=
rtle. I do this when algebra is included in the content. I think this is th=
e right time to start learning a programming language.
I have a degree in mathematics, but I also have a technical background in t=
elecommunications. I worked in large companies, such as Siemens, Philips an=
d even AT&T. This experience makes me believe in the importance of teaching=
programming right from elementary school.
Recently, our school's computers were removed. They used Linux Mint and had=
Kturtle installed. A new administration replaced them with Chromebooks.
I lost Kturtle. I was left without language instruction. That's why I came =
to ask for help. I've tried several ways to install it on the Chromebook, b=
ut I can't. Could you help me?
I have always used Ubuntu. I have even donated to KDE.
Please see if you can help me.
