I am a frequent user of kig and a co-developper up to some years ago. The history of kig started by Dominique Devriese as a rewrite of kgeo, when I started my collaboration. A few persons took the responsibility of maintaining the package, I remember Pino Toscano and later David Narvaez. Thank you Markus if you volunteer to take care of the port to Qt6, I am certainly not able to do that.
