Nice. Particularly good to have an article about KDE software in Fedora.

Now I'll start with the complaining :-) Keep in mind this is my ideal - I've
been very strict with the words here - and I'm realistic that not all of this
will get changed.

Title: I'd prefer "KDE Software in Fedora 13" - as the people who make up KDE
are not in Fedora 13 ;-) but can live with it as it is

First para: "While Fedora 13 the GNOME desktop" doesn't make any sense. Also
"the KDE desktop" -> "KDE software" or "KDE Plasma Desktop". There is no 'KDE
desktop" or at least it is ambiguous: that could refer to Plasma Desktop or
Plasma Netbook

Second para "The first thing in KDE". KDE is people so this doesn't make sense.
Try "Plasma Desktop" or just drop "KDE" so it's "The first thing you..."

Section "KDE itself":
Better title could be "KDE Plasma Desktop"
Then the first paragraph could change:
"For all the useful applications for which the KDE Software Compilation is
famous, the real power lies in KDE itself."
->
"For all the useful applications for which KDE is famous, real power lies also
in Plasma Desktop [or the workspace]"

Figure 4 caption should be "Add a Plasma Widget to your desktop"

P22 last paragraph:

Better:
"KDE Plasma Desktop also ships with a set of useful Plasma Widgets that
you..."
or
"KDE also ships a set of" (remove 'with')

Anyone remember the 'technical term' for the plasma blob? Desktop Toolbox?

Final paragraph of article:
"If you are just starting out on KDE" ->
"If you are just starting out with KDE software"

"KDE do the work for you" ->
"KDE software do the work for you"

"motto of the KDE desktop" ->
"motto of KDE"

Wow, that's quite a lot of stuff. As I said, I'd be delighted to see even
*some* of those changed and that would make this article a lot more accurate
than a lot that appear in the big magazines.

Can you ping the list again when this get published? It might be worth a quick
Dot article pointing to it, or at the very least a blog post.

Cheers,
Stu
