I'm not sure which OLF 2010 announcement you're referring to or who you
contacted about a KDE BoF. I would suggest contacting the KDE Promo list
at [email protected] about ideas for promotion and BoFs at OLF.

In my experience with BoFs this isn't necessarily correct -- the
audience BoFs tend to attract depends highly on how the BoF is marketed,
both in its description and the title of the BoF itself. A BoF entitled
"Developments in KDE" will likely attract existing KDE users who want to
see what's new, while a BoF entitled "Getting Started Using KDE" will
likely attract those that are not existing KDE users but are interested
in the idea.
