Suggested:

"KDE 1 was the inaugural series of releases of the KDE Software
Compilation" -> "KDE 1 was the inaugural series of releases now known
as the KDE Software Compilation, then known as the K Desktop
Environment"

Problem solved; there's no need to be revisionist when talking about
the historical elements of KDE software, it just needs to be
consistent. Additionally, I'd like to really get away from using "KDE
Software Compiliation" everywhere - if wording is revisionist, perhaps
the article should have been called "K Desktop Environment" (pre 4.0)
and "KDE Software Compilation 4" (current stuff).

My head hurts. If I had more time, I'd go try to find the right
wording myself, but I've got a report due elsewhere. Have fun folks.

Cheers
