The mailing list you sent your email to is used for coordindation of KDE's Promotional efforts, it's where people meet that decide to spend some time and energy promoting KDE as a Free desktop. As such it's not the right place to rant about Microsoft, or users of their software. Some might agree, some won't -- I for example don't think that condemning and dismissing users of Microsoft software is the way to go here. The point really is that this complaining leads to nothing (or worse: offended people). Taking action and putting your "money where your mouth is" does. The result shows clearly: Microsoft is in a much weaker position than some years ago. If you'd like to redirect your anger against Microsoft into positive deeds, feel most welcome to participate in KDE, for example by subscribing to kde- promo and picking up tasks from there. It doesn't need to be complicated, it just often happens that people need a hand. By all means, be pro-active and bring in your own ideas.
