Well, the Dot's 'contribute a story' page (http://dot.kde.org/content/contact-
dot-editors) does not seem to leave a lot of space for these types of 
articles. In fact, it explicitly says "don't include too much of your personal 
opinions", which actually goes directly against the idea of an op-ed piece. 
That makes sense to me, as articles published in the Dot could be perceived as 
reflecting official KDE positions, and these are bound to be at odds sometimes 
with whatever the author of an opinion article writes. Yet if people think 
that op-ed articles should be included in the Dot, I'm happy to stop working 
on this and focus my efforts on trying to get these types of pieces in the Dot.
