We pretty much talked about everything I can think of. Maybe what we actually need are different version numbers for Workspaces, Applications bundle, and Platform. Once we have Plasma Workspaces 4.8 and Applications 2011.01 (January) running on KDE Platform 5.0 we, it'll finally stick.
