Ok, so a quick update - there has been a little bit of work on this, but it 
has also been put forward as a project for KDE's participation in Google Code-
In (a bit like GSoC for pre-university people). So hopefully someone there 
will pick it up in the next few weeks. If not, we'll take that task down and 
just do it ourselves, which will take a little longer
