i think so, and there was already a presentation of a finished-ish set
top box at the meego summit (ui seemed a quickly written little
proprietary thing on their own, so no doors closet -yet- even on them)

personally i don't want to target androis anytime soon.
if sometime will be possible to use it as a base without too much
burden then go for it, but for now, nah, too much of an alien.

to me short term meego also short-ish is other distributions that
could be interesting trying a mobile version (could be even easier to
get in them, and with less compromises)
and yeah, android (or even symbian) in the future, less of a priority i think
