If we go the route you've described couldn't we just put this right on the
KDE.org home page or on a relevant sub-page?  I don't know if we really need
a separate URL, do we?  For example, couldn't we just add an "Apparel" link
under the "Community" menu on kde.org and have the URL of the pages you're
describing be http://kde.org/Apparel or http://kde.org/Community/Apparel?

Btw, while I'm totally in favor of doing this, I don't think we should hold
up the Dot article while we figure this part out in case it takes a while to
implement... (unless you think it'll be ready in the next day or two)
