As Lydia already mentioned, I don't think being bigger than a CD is a problem. 
I guess all computers we would use that have an optical drive can read DVDs, 
since we'd prefer hardware that is not really old for demos anyway. Most of 
them can probably boot from USB too...

Sandro, who I think is mentor for this task, may also have some other ideas.

I think it is great to have all of the Software Compilation. I'd also like you 
to include a few of our other apps too - digiKam and Amarok come to mind. 
Really the idea is to have one disc that someone going to a conference or show 
can download, that has only KDE branding and nothing distro specific so it 
gives a good indication of what our software can do.

Something that might be nice is to include some sample media, such as photos, 
music and movies to demo the software. Of course these would have to be under 
free licenses so we can redistribute them. That would be a nice thing, but I 
don't know if you have time in the task. Again, Sandro can probably advise.

Ultimately, that's one of the things that can differentiate this live-CD (or 
DVD) that is for demo purposes from some of the others we already have that 
are more for end users to check out the latest KDE software or help with 
testing without messing up their stable install.
