It's spelled SUSE (it's a registered trademark, so respecting it would be a +1).

And that's called openSUSE-Branding. Uninstall the package and the
customizations are gone when it comes related to artwork.
Of course this sort of tinkering might involve some brutallizing
things like --nodeps arguments on RPM... but you are free to take the
packages, branch on OBS and rebuild without the openSUSE branding
requirements.

So in other words.. withing a very short period of time you can
actually get the things done... and once more you have the possibility
of SUSE Studio.
