Anyways, I just wanted to say that months ago I built a KDE Live CD for Akademy 2010. It uses upstream artwork, no distribution-specific icons, so it's hard to tell what's under the hood. I also customised bootsplash and gxfboot branding to make it look more KDEish. PDFs about KDE are also there in the desktop. I think it has everything. Besides having built it, it's easy to maintain; the Live CD is rebuilt automatically whenever I upload new KDE tarballs to the KDE package repository. KIWI is also amazing, it takes care of many things ;-) https://build.opensuse.org/package/show?package=akademy- live&project=KDE%3AMedias Greetings, -- Javier Llorente _______________________________________________ This message is from the kde-promo mailing list.
