Hi Mario,

Hopefully this has made some progress since your email despite our lack of
response.  What is the current status of the release?  Regarding the release
announcement you'd want to submit your article to the Dot editors once
you've got the announcement together (
http://dot.kde.org/content/contact-dot-editors).  Giving them some advance
notice helps a lot with scheduling too in order to make sure they can post
it on the day of the release.

Btw, will the announcement give a general update of where things stand with
KDE-Windows?  Is there some place that we can point people to that
summarizes a) what applications are currently supported on Windows and b)
how one would go about installing them?  I think this would all be good info
for your announcement if that wasn't already part of your plan.
