I did ask... January 12th, and heard back from him the same day. Felix Michel said that the artwork was needed from Eugene by the end of January. And that Felix was shooting to have something for FOSDEM in February. I passed this information along to Eugene. My experience with Eugene is that he goes off and works quietly, and then comes back with a bunch of totally cool stuff. I will ping him on the 21st to see how it's going.
