Given that your PDF does not embed the fonts, if you open it in a computer which does not have the fonts that are used, the PDF viewer will choose replacements for the missing fonts. This means the document looks different in every computer. It's not like I'm worried about me not viewing the PDF at its best, it's that I'm worried when the booklet is sent to the printer, they will not have the fonts and we may get a booklet which looks totally awful due to the printer using replacement fonts instead of the fonts the booklet was designed with. > I am glad that the oxygen meeting was fruitful and i am looking forward to > receiving the screenshots and the cover. Thanks very much for your effort! Screenshots still look awful. BTW, I'm currently maintaining KSnapshot. What features would you (everybody taking screenshots for the booklet) like to see in KSnapshot to make taking screenshots for books, magazines, booklets, etc easier? -- Pau Garcia i Quiles http://www.elpauer.org (Due to my workload, I may need 10 days to answer) _______________________________________________ This message is from the kde-promo mailing list.
