I like the idea. We shouldnt probably slideshow this one because we already 
have one slideshow in the page. Two of them togheter makes it just bad.
So +1 for 'next reason' button.

A few things.
Currently, main sentence (at top) is: "Become an official member of KDE e.V."
This doesnt work because:
1)people dont usually know what is kde e.V (or at least we shouldnt suppose 
they do)
2)doesnt tell why joining kde e.v would be interesting.

so something like "Help KDE operate healthy and independent" makes much more 
sense.


Another thing comes to my mind is the middle section. its currently 'Join the 
game <Join now>' doesnt actually describe anything. its just there.

So what im thinking is that we could replace the 'Join the game' sentence with 
reasons list idea you came up with.

Two drawbacks come to my mind with this approach.
1) site name is Join the game and that part (which i proposed to remove) is 
the only part in page where we mentioned it.
A) (Does the website name even matter here? I mean, jointhegame isnt our 
'brand' and we dont want to punch it in users face)

B) We can change the blue button from 'Join Now' to 'Join the game (now)'. 
this way we have mentioned the name as well.

2)Index page may look too empty. I dont know what can we do about it. Im not 
even sure if that would be a bad thing.


And i prefer launching this version of the site as perfect as we can. We're 
already late, so at least lets make it work fine.
(The functionality is there. everything is implemented. Im trying to find bugs 
and issues here and there, though)
