your work is impactful :)

hi all...

a link to an episode of the Linux Action Show came up on irc in which they 
review the 4.6 release. it's very positive, to say the least. :) neither of 
the presenters is currently a Plasma user, so this isn't just our fanbois, but 
people who use other software. how do they know about what we have to offer? 
well, in part because they've been using the 4.6 release for the last couple 
of days, but ....

... what i also noticed is that they made extensive use of our promo 
materials: screenshots, verbatim text from the release notes, etc.

thanks to all the hard work people put into those release notes, other people 
are discovering KDE and finding a passion for it. the "elegance" meme is also 
striking a strong, nice chord.

so congrats and thanks to each and every one of you who had a hand in making 
the 4.6 release notes happen. they are valuable and have a huge impact. we all 
know it is true, but i'll say it anyway: it isn't enough that we make awesome 
technology, we need to tell people that we are doing so. you are helping make 
that happen, with style.
