Desktop Summit CfP

Hey all,

I was recently reminded (thanks Lydia!) that the Desktop Summit CfP is
ending soon: https://desktopsummit.org/cfp

It's my opinion that the Promo team has had quite a productive year so far
and it looks promising that we will continue to keep this pace up for the
remainder of the time until the Desktop Summit.  We should definitely have
some people from our team speaking at this event and telling the wider KDE
and Gnome communities about what we've been doing, what we plan to do in the
future, how the community could interact with our group to get more cool
things done, etc.  If you need some feedback on potential ideas you'd like
to submit, or have a great idea but don't want to be a speaker (maybe you
have stage fright? :) please feel free to discuss it on the list here.

In general it would also be great to see as many of you all at the event as
possible.  So many new people have been contributing so far this year and
Akademy/Desktop Summit is a great time to meet people in person, strengthen
relationships, get lots of work done, etc.  Travel assistance is available
for the event if needed.  So get those proposals in ASAP!
