The native Plasmas API, not having DOM (?) can be a shock for webdevs
getting into plasma's market. How does Plasma access elements, inputs etc?

I was totally forgotten about WebKit in plasmoids :)

It just came to my head - *Google CHROME -  its plugins is written in JS*.
Now KDE can take look at API's in chromium, do some mix and match, and
horray - we have thousands of plugins just waiting to be used :) (at least
in theory)
