Well, my ThinkPad came with some free lite version of Office 2010. There
also was an auto installer started to get Win Live Essentials. From the 2
weeks I've used them - it (free packages) has very similar functionality
like LibreOffice or something. Its not 2005, now users expect eventing to
work out of the box. But that's not the topic here.

My wild guess, this DVD is intended to be given to people, who never used
Linux before, and it contains some modified version of openSUSE 11.4 ?

So, talking about the text itself, think about main tasks:

* To SELL (distinguish itself from the crowd)
Why user should even start trying. What BENEFITS will I get by spending my
time and testing it? e.g. boots on broken system, provides fully featured
web/PIM environment etc
I remember the days, when the hardest task, after going to local IT show,
was to take home all those bags full of CD's, promo materials etc. Is there
something, that makes this DVD stand out.
* To express values
Something like Be Free, elegantly yours (can go with last point)
* To guide the user
What should he/she do with this DVD?
Its Digital VIDEO Disk, how do we make sure, the user wont give up, then it
wont play on its Samsung (video_ts with some short intro/how-to)?
How to even boot live CD. Many PC's has HDD as primary boot device.
* To tell whats within
It currently tells about Plasma workspaces. Creating terminology awareness
is great, but how to (from the new users perspective) tell accurately
enough, how does Plasma differs from space shuttle launcher?
What about "...It includes small screen optimized version - *Plasma Netbook*"
or someething (notice first the benefit, then the brand).
Might be we can make use of such popular brands like "with Firefox 4" etc?
Yes DVD's target is to promote KDE, but its much easier to convince user to
stay with KDE, when he has started KDE session, then there was nothing, that
grabs his eye. People are very selective these days :)
* Tell your rights
How to make sure this
http://linuxlock.blogspot.com/2008/12/linux-stop-holding-our-kids-back.htmlwont
ever happen again?  :(

if the DVD is intended to be given to current KDE users, well when I believe
balk cover with KDE name on it could to the job. We already know how great
it is :)

Anyway, hopefully we will see this DVD well done soon. Keep on going :)

Just my 0.02 LTL

p.s. great artwork
