As thomas said, the clue is simple: we work in teams. This team does maybe the 
approximate amount of 1, maybe 2 full-time people. Any planning tool is 
nothing but overhead, sorry.

Frankly, half what is done here is overhead: keeping up to date with what is 
going on, argueing, discussing. Much of that is needed, much of it is simply 
too much. For example, any mail with more than 10 lines is frequently best 
qualified as "a waste of time". I usually skip them.

Seriously. Talk gets you nowhere. Doing a simple article about KDE is far more 
effective than any planning or talking ever can be, simply because things 
almost always STOP at planning. If that article gets you 2 people helping out 
with something, dude, that is MAJOR. Really.

So if you want to make a difference, I suggest to DO it ;-)

Then, if you want to talk strategy, come to a meeting. Doing it over mail 
doesn't work.
