Hey, I'm part of the KDE promo team and an editor on dot.kde.org - we just published a news story [1] about the recent second alpha (btw, welcome to KDE!) and have got some positive responses. However, someone pointed out a potential problem with the logo in some cultures. Maybe it would be nice to have a new one? If you're interested in asking the community to submit new designs, we could help with that by announcing a contest in a dot story... People could either mail you designs directly or we can make a page on community.kde.org to collect the designs.
