Hello Fellow KDE-Promoters,

it just occurred to me that our main website lack a simple search button.*

When I have doing more website usability reading, a simple search was "
the user's lifeline for mastering complex websites." [1]
I still guess it is important, especially with the rich contents
that the large family of KDE websites offer.

One possiblity would be to include a common websearch limited to the KDE
familiy of websites. Another one is using our own engine, let me suggest one:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/YaCy
http://yacy.net
Yacy is Free Software and can be used nicely to work as a search
engine for a set of sites. FSFE also uses it, check out the frontpage
search for www.fsfe.org .

Best Regards,
Bernhard

* At least I do not see it in an old Konqueror and Iceweasel
