	I think one of the answers is about Plasma Network Management, right? 
Jos asked about it two weeks ago, I sent him the answer but I think it has not

	Just as a note Plasma NM is not part of KDE Software Compilation (it is 
in extragear), it may confuse users if we talk about it in KDE SC 4.7 release 
notes. Most of the changes, including the ones in the plasmoid, are not 
included in KDE SC 4.7, are not 4.7 specific too, work and are already 
available to 4.6 users. The changes used by Plasma NM that are included in KDE 
SC 4.7 are in Solid:

. bluetooth tethering support;
. some changes in Solid's ModemManager API to allow Plasma NM to inform error 
messages when GSM PIN unlock fails;
. changes to retrieve current network interface name easily. This is a small 
detail but it allows Plasma NM's traffic plotter to work with all serial 
connections (dialup and mobile broadband). Until recently the traffic plotter 
only worked for the ppp0 interface.

	All other changes are in extragear:

. the other part of the changes listed above;
. support to NM-0.9. This is not finished yet, there is at least one bug in 
NM-0.9 that makes Plasma NM loose passwords and encryption keys when the user 
tries to save them. I contacted NM developers about this bug including a patch 
to partially fix the problem but there is 10 days no one responds my e-mails 
in NM's mailing list anymore.

	All other changes in Plasma NM's master already work with 4.6, so there 
is no sense in including them in 4.7 release notes.

	Changes only for branch nm09:

. support to import old NM-0.8 configuration files. There is at least one bug 
that need to be solved here.
. support for VPN Openconnect;
. improvements in Stronswan (VPN), OpenVPN and VPNC supports;
. small improvements in user interface: traffic plotter can now show speed in 
KBits/s too, Manager Connection widget indicates all connected connections, 
added version number to Manager Connection widget;
. added MAC spoofing support;

	The plasmoid does work for 4.6 and is default in 4.6, so the statement 
below does not hold. The NM-0.9 support is not part of KDE SC 4.7, not even 
Solid's NetworkManager backend for NM-0.9 is part of KDE SC 4.7 anymore, it is 
in extragear with Plasma NM source code. As I wrote above most of the VPN and 
MAC spoofing improvement are for nm09 branch, which is not part of SC and 
already works with 4.6. The same is true for the 3G improvements.

	All said I think only the bluetooth tethering support and small 
improvements in GSM support and user interface are truly eligible to be 
included in 4.7 release notes. The fact that Plasma NM is not part of SC 
really restricts what we can say about it in the release notes. We can think 
about an addendum to talk about other important KDE software that are not 
included in SC.
