So we had our meeting and here are a few notes. The other attendees may come with corrections and additions. =KDE and Businesses= We discussed how to attract some more corporate supporting members. Frank shared a document written some time ago. We need to define the value in contributing to funds to KDE, make it clear how they are spent and the benefits to companies we approach. Agustin has some particular ideas here and will work on this (with help). =Join the Game= On a related topic, we looked at Join the Game. The infrastructure/website for that is now fine, so it is time to push it - through Dot stories when possible (one coming shortly) blog posts, particularly by people who benefit and active selling by teams attending events. Including information somehow in the software is another possibility. =What to do for KDE's 15th birthday in October= KDE turns 15 in October. Some current ideas - Encourage parties, of course - Ask people to take a photo cellbrating/showing their love for KDE and we will pick out the winners for a Dot story - We need a logo - Eugene/Nuno/others?| - We could do a one-off fundraiser - ask for a donation of 15 Euro/Dollars etc on the day (and also push Join the Game for a longer term commitment) =Other items= Still it would be good to get more international stories on the Dot. There may be people in Brazil etc who can do us some translations from e.g. LiveBlue. Camilla can check this a bit (?) If you've got ideas on the above, just mail the list.
