Interesting, Its a bit different from Lithuania, imho. But that’s still not
dead end. It could be possible to license corporate.kde.org for selected
company (who takes care of the project from a to z) and receive income as
donations/financial support.

But obviously, somebody with greater Germany law knowledge should comment
here.
