I just did a little poking. From my pov, this is the status:

- apps: not bad, with some tidying and screenshots it can be ok
- workspaces: needs more, but it's not desperate, with tidying and screenshots
we could release this
- platform: terrible, I jsut put some stuff in about Qt Quick growing in the
workspaces from developer perspective but it doesn't really fit there.

I'll blog now asking for contributions.

Sebas: any insights on Platform? Can you ping core-devel maybe to ask for
contributions? I know there won't be much due to the work on Frameworks 5 -
are we better off just saying that Platform 4.8 is bugfix only?

All: if you are running 4.8 prereleases and can get screenshots, please do.
You can upload them on the wiki or just email them to me if you've no space
elsewhere.

Cheers,
Stu
